Norman Regional Health System is seeking a pharmacist to participate in all clinical pharmacy services, support distributive pharmacy services, and ensure the pharmacy provides optimal pharmaceutical care to patients daily. The role includes developing, implementing, and maintaining clinical and distributive processes and programs to promote safe, cost-effective drug therapies for all ages.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required.
• Preferred hospital-based clinical pharmacy experience.
• Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
• Preceptor license maintained with OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
• ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship encouraged.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participates in departmental clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications per policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Administer ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
• Contribute to educational goals of the department.
• Improve pharmacy processes to enhance patient safety and outcomes.
