Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Pharmacist to support clinical and distributive pharmacy services, ensuring safe, cost-effective therapy for all patients daily. The role helps develop, implement, and maintain programs that promote desirable outcomes through safe drug therapies.

The position participates in educational goals and works to improve accuracy and efficiency of pharmacy processes to enhance patient safety and patient outcomes.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
• Licensed pharmacist in good standing per state board.
• Maintain preceptor license with state board on hire.
• Maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency preceptorship on hire.
• Board certification in related practice area encouraged.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participates in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications according to policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Administration of the ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
• Contribute to the educational goals of the department.
• Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes, to promote patient safety and improve outcomes.
