Job summary

Norman Regional Health System seeks a licensed pharmacist to support clinical and distributive pharmacy services, promote safe, cost-effective therapies, and contribute to patient outcomes across all ages.

The role involves processing orders, dispensing per policies, supporting accreditation requirements, and participating in education and program development.

Applicants should hold a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, be licensed in OK, and have preferred PGY1 residency or hospital pharmacy experience.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree from an accredited college (BS or PharmD).
• OK pharmacist licensure in good standing is required.
• ASHP PGY1 residency or hospital experience is preferred but not required.
• Preceptor license with OK State Board needed upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure age-appropriate, safe and cost-effective medication therapies.
• Process orders and dispense medications per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support accreditation and reporting requirements for the department.
• Contribute to educational goals and program development.
• Enhance pharmacy processes to improve patient safety and outcomes.
