Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is hiring for a pharmacist to participate in clinical and distributive pharmacy services, ensuring safe, cost-effective therapies for patients of all ages. The role supports program development, adherence to policies, and regulatory requirements, with emphasis on patient safety and education.

The position requires a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, Oklahoma licensure, and preferred PGY1 residency with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency or equivalent (preferred).
• Hospital-based clinical pharmacy experience preferred.
• Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
• Maintains preceptor license with OK State Board of Pharmacy on hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participate in targeted clinical programs and departmental initiatives.
• Process orders and dispense medications per policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Support education goals of the department and contribute to clinical programs.
• Enhance accuracy and efficiency of pharmacy processes to promote patient safety.
