Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is hiring a clinical pharmacist to provide optimal pharmaceutical care across patient populations in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include processing orders, dispensing medications, and supporting clinical programs to improve outcomes.

Requires PharmD or B.S. in Pharmacy, active OK license, and ASHP PGY1 residency or preceptorship where possible. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
• Preceptor license expected upon hire with OK State Board of Pharmacy.
• ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency/preceptorship upon hire.
• Board certification in related practice area encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Administration of the ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
• Contribute to the educational goals of the department.
• Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes, to promote patient safety and improve outcomes.
