Norman Regional Health System is seeking a hospital pharmacist to ensure safe, effective, and cost-efficient therapies across age groups. You will support clinical and distributive services, participate in programs, and help maintain regulatory compliance and education within the department.

The role offers a generous sign-on bonus of $20,000 and relocation assistance, with various hourly differentials and comprehensive benefits. A pharmacist license in good standing is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent.
• Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
• Required licensure as a pharmacist in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
• Maintain preceptor license with the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
• Achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire.
• Board-certification in related practice area encouraged.

Responsabilités

• Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participates in departmental clinical programs and processes.
• Process orders and dispense medications according to policies and regulations.
• Assist with ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements.
• Contribute to educational goals and improve pharmacy processes for safety and outcomes.
