Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 Residency or equivalent preferred, not required.
• Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
• Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy; preceptor license required on hire; PGY1 preceptorship required on hire.
• Board certification in related practice area encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participate in departmental clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications according to policies and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to educational goals of the department.
• Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes to promote patient safety and outcomes.
