Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a pharmacist to participate in all clinical services, support distributive pharmacy operations, and ensure optimal pharmaceutical care for patients daily. The role includes developing and maintaining clinical and distributive processes and programs that promote safe, cost-effective therapies for all ages.

Responsibilities include dispensing per policy, supporting educational goals, and improving safety and outcomes through efficient pharmacy processes.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited college (BS Pharm or PharmD).
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 Residency or equivalent (preferred).
• Hospital clinical pharmacy experience preferred.
• Current Pharmacist license in good standing with state board.
• Preceptor license maintained upon hire.
• Board certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Process orders and dispense according to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Administer ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
• Contribute to the educational goals of the department.
• Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes to promote safety and outcomes.
