Norman Regional Health System is seeking a pharmacist to participate in clinical and distributive pharmacy services, ensuring optimal pharmacotherapy for all patients. The role involves processing orders, dispensing medications, and supporting departmental programs to promote patient safety and cost-effective care.

Qualifications emphasize a PharmD/BS in Pharmacy, Oklahoma licensure, and possible PGY1 residency preceptorship.

Formación

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college.
• Experience: Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required.
• Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
• Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
• Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
• Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire.
• Strongly encouraged to achieve/maintain board-certification in related practice area.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participates in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Administration of the ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
• Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Contribute to the educational goals of the department.
• Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes, to promote patient safety and improve outcomes.
