Job summary

Norman Regional Health System seeks a skilled pharmacist to participate in clinical and distributive pharmacy services, ensuring safe and cost-effective therapies for all patients. Responsibilities include processing orders and supporting departmental programs and education.

Required licensure and ongoing preceptor responsibilities will be maintained; a BS/PharmD is required, with ASHP PGY1 residency preferred and board certification encouraged as career development.]

Qualifications

• Pharmacist must hold a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited college.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency is preferred but not required.
• Active OK State Board of Pharmacy licensure in good standing.
• Maintain preceptor license with OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
• Encouraged to obtain/maintain board-certification in related practice area.

Responsibilities

• Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participate in departmental clinical programs and regulatory reporting.
• Process orders and dispense medications per policies and protocols.
• Support educational goals of the department.
• Improve efficiency, accuracy, and safety of pharmacy processes.

Education

Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD)

ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency

OK State Board of Pharmacy licensure

Preceptor license maintained

Board certification in related area
