Job summary

Norman Regional Health System in Oklahoma is seeking a hospital pharmacist to join our clinical team and support both clinical and distributive pharmacy services. The role focuses on safe, cost-effective therapies across all patient ages and adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications include a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, Oklahoma pharmacist license, and preferably ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency; hospital pharmacy experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree from an accredited college of pharmacy (BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D).
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency preferred but not required.
• Hospital clinical pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participates in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications according to policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements; manage accreditation/reports to external agencies.

• Contribute to educational goals of the department.
• Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes to promote patient safety and better outcomes.
