Job summary

Baptist Health Corbin is seeking an experienced RN to serve as ER Flow Coordinator in the Emergency Department. This part-time, second-shift role focuses on efficient patient movement, timely care, and coordination with the ED team to maintain safety and quality.

Strong leadership and evidence-based practice are essential for this role. The candidate will oversee patient throughput, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with hospital policies while supporting performance improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
• Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
• Three (3) years of clinical management experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support required; CPR-BLS training within first week.
• ACLS, PALS, Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia, NIH Stroke Certification, Glucometer Training, 12 Lead...

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow through ED evaluation, treatment, discharge, and transfers.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care and documentation.
• Mentor and educate staff; coach orientation and competency validation.
• Support unit operations and maintain a safe, efficient environment.
• Collaborate with ED leadership and other departments to resolve care concerns.
