This 13-week Critical Access Patient Care Technician role supports emergency department operations in Bozeman, MT, providing patient registration, vital sign collection, and assistance to nursing staff. It offers competitive compensation and housing options to attract experienced clinicians.

You will register patients, collect vitals, and assist nurses while supporting floor staff and ensuring safety and compliance in a fast-paced ER setting.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification.
• BLS certification.
• PCT or ER registration experience.
• Long-term care (LTC) experience.
• Minimum 2 years hospital experience.
• Familiarity with small-town ER or interdepartmental rotation.
• Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to strictly follow facility protocols.

Responsibilities

• Register patients in the ER, collect vital signs, and support nursing staff.
• Assist floor staff by passing trays, preparing meals, and addressing patient needs during quieter periods.
• Relieve other CNAs during lunch breaks and aid with patient care tasks.
• Adhere to facility protocols and procedures to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain a professional, team-oriented approach, adapting quickly to changing priorities.

Education

CNA certification
