Job summary

Billings Clinic is seeking a Patient Care Technician II in the ED on the Main Campus. The role involves assisting with patient care, vitals, monitoring, and transfers under RN/MD supervision, with shifts including day, evening, night and weekends.

Candidates should have high school diploma, 1 year of acute care experience, phlebotomy and EKG skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced ED. Training includes CERNER documentation and HIPPA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year direct patient-care experience in acute or emergency setting.
• Demonstrated competency with IV starts, phlebotomy, wound care and EKGs.

Responsibilities

• Responds to ED calls and transfers calls per guidelines.
• Performs phlebotomy and basic patient care.
• Maintains patient safety and documentation in CERNER/FirstNet.
• Assists with imaging and transfers as needed.
• Maintains clean, safe ED environment.
