Qualifications

• Provides direct patient care under supervision of licensed nurses.

Responsibilities

• Implements direct patient care under the supervision of the nurse; assists with ADLs and vital signs.
• Collects clinical data and reports changes in patient status to the nurse.
• Assists with patient and family education; documents care activities with proper terminology.
• Ensures supplies and equipment are available to meet patient needs.
• Participates in patient safety, quality and regulatory activities; engages in professional development.
