Job summary

BJC HealthCare seeks a dedicated Certified Nurse Assistant for patient care support at multiple Siteman locations. You will work under RN supervision, assisting with ADLs, vital signs, and patient education in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Role emphasizes safety, accurate documentation, and teamwork to ensure high-quality care and a respectful patient experience. No holidays, weekends, or float requirements may apply depending on staffing.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience as a CNA, nurse assistant, EMT, or surgical technician.
• Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Licensure as Certified Nurse Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements direct patient care under the supervision of the nurse, promoting patient and family centered care in a healing environment. Administers or assists patients with ADLs, performs vital signs, intake & output, fall and pressure ulcer prevention measures, urinary catheter care, phlebotomy, or point of care testing as requested.
