Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. seeks an ER Technician to support patient care across assigned areas. You will collect clinical data, take vital signs, obtain specimens, and assist with examinations and procedures under nursing supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and current BLS; ACLS/PALS are preferred. IV starts, phlebotomy, and EKG initiation experience are strongly valued. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; multiple pathways listed.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS/ALS certification required in most markets; exceptions noted.
• PALS certification strongly preferred.
• Experience with IV starts, phlebotomy, and EKG initiation preferred.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document clinical data; take vital signs and collect specimens.
• Collect lab samples and perform lab testing per policies and COLA/CLIA.
• Assist with patient activities and care as per plan of care.
• Provide superficial wound care and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain patient privacy and a clean, infection-controlled environment.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
