Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• One-year acute care hospital experience or one year experience as an EMT/Paramedic on an ambulance crew or Patient Care Technician.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications with ILCOR courses.
• State Paramedic license and national license (NREMT) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in performing routine care and specialized skills.
• Report any unusual incidents or findings and maintain patient safety.
• Work under the direct supervision of a physician in the hospital setting.
