Job summary

Medical City Dallas seeks a Paramedic to deliver high-quality patient care under the direction of the Medical Director and in alignment with the hospital's philosophy and goals. Delegation decisions are made by RNs on a case-by-case basis, with direction from the charge nurse for shift duties.

The position requires BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications or instructor credentials within specified timelines and at least 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a paramedic or in a related acute care role.
• BCLS certification with instructor credential within 30 days of start.
• ACLS instructor certification within 6 months.
• PALS instructor certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care under the Medical Director’s guidance.
• Coordinate with the charge nurse for shift assignments and duties.
• Adhere to RN delegation rules for task assignment per acute care settings.
