Job summary

Medical City Plano is seeking a Paramedic for the Emergency Department PRN to support the clinical team and deliver direct patient care during assigned shifts, either 3p-3a or 7p-7a. You will perform psychomotor skills, monitor patients, document observations, and assist with emergencies under RN supervision. Qualifications include ACLS, BCLS, PALS within 30 days, EMT-P/EMP, vocational training, and 1+ year acute care hospital experience. Benefits include medical, dental and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BCLS, and PALS certifications required or to be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Vocational school graduate required.
• Paramedic (EMT-P) or Emergency Medical Paramedic (EMP) required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care as assigned by the RN and reports observations, procedure results and patient needs.
• Maintains cleanliness, stocking, and organization of storage areas.
• Documents pertinent data concisely and promptly.
