Job summary

Flowers Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as the ER Nursing Supervisor. The role oversees nursing care, improves patient flow, and provides clinical leadership in a high‑volume Emergency Department.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in ED, with charge nurse or precepting experience preferred. This full‑time position includes weekend shifts and a student loan contribution program among other incentives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience.
• Charge nurse and/or precepting experience preferred.
• RN licensure required (state or compact).
• Associate degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and evaluates nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Monitors patient flow and staff performance to reduce delays.
• Performs regular rounding on patients and staff.
• Identifies staffing needs for oncoming shifts and ensures coverage.
• Provides clinical leadership and guidance to staff.
• Ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
