Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Nursing Education Specialist for the Adult ER at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, IN. The role focuses on developing and evaluating nursing education programs for the ER and supports clinical competency across the organization.

You will collaborate with leaders, design & implement educational plans, and ensure learning outcomes meet licensure and quality standards, with travel to Anderson at least once weekly.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing.
• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date.
• RN credentialed with Indiana Board of Nursing prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leaders and staff to assess nursing educational needs and competencies.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing and clinical educational plans/programs.
• Utilize methods and tools to evaluate learning goal achievement.
• Consult on design, development, and evaluation of Nursing Professional Development programs.
• Manage performance standards for inter-professional programs.
