Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Completion of an applicable State Approved Nurse Aide I course required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the nursing process by giving direct care to patients under the direction of the RN.
• Performs special procedures correctly under the direction of the RN.
• Creates and maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, staff and visitors.
• Communicates patient information clearly to team, patients and families.
