Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in New Jersey to provide direct patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team. The RN will perform assessments, develop plans of care, administer medications, and ensure documentation meets policy standards.

Qualifications include a valid NJ RN license, BLS/CPR, ACLS/PALS preferred, and 1+ year acute care experience; ED experience is highly desired. BSN in progress or within three years of hire is a plus.

Qualifications

• New Jersey Registered Nurse license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification is required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications are highly preferred.
• 1 year or more of acute care nursing experience is highly desired.
• ED nursing experience is highly desired.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Collect comprehensive data on patients and interpret changes.
• Communicate plans of care with the team and family.
• Administer medications using updated bar-scanning tech and documentation.
• Coordinate discharge planning and transitions of care.
