Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver direct patient care within an interdisciplinary team in acute care settings. This role emphasizes ongoing learning and collaboration to improve patient outcomes in New Jersey.

Required NJ RN license and BLS/CPR; ACLS/PALS preferred. Candidates with 1+ year acute care experience and ED exposure are highly desirable. BSN in progress or willingness to pursue within three years is encouraged for career growth.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association is required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications highly preferred.
• 1 year or more of acute care nursing experience highly desired.
• ED nursing experience highly desired.
• The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs with strong accountability and teamwork.

This position focuses on expanding knowledge and skills, provides effective direct care as part of the interdisciplinary team to a variety of complex patients. This position directs and oversees the care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination. This position effectively coordinates patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services.
