Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis offers a Graduate Nurse Residency program (16 weeks) in a high-acuity Level 1 Trauma Center setting. The position is full-time with three 12-hour shifts, nights, and upcoming start dates in June 2027 or January 2027.

You’ll learn advanced care delivery, participate in orientation, and join a mission-driven, supportive team. Education includes RN program graduation, active RN license (state/compact), and BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Must obtain/maintain a current RN license (state or compact).
• BLS (AHA) certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and care team.
