Research Medical Center in Kansas is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team. The role focuses on pain management, accurate documentation, and proactive patient advocacy to support optimal outcomes.

The RN will educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans and follow-up, ensuring understanding and safety across care transitions.

Qualifications

• RN licensed to practice in Kansas.
• Registered Nurse Diploma or equivalent.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course/ATCN required within 1 year of start date.
• ACLS required within 6 months of start date.
• BLS required.
• No travel required.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care consistent with department standards.
• Collaborate with medical providers and care team to deliver individualized care.
• Assess patient pain regularly and promote effective pain management.
• Document care in the patient medical record promptly and thoroughly.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and proactively anticipate needs.
• Educate patients, families and caregivers about conditions, treatments, and follow-up measures.
