Qualifications

• RN Diploma required.
• Trauma Care certification within 1 year of start date.
• PALS/if required within 1 year of start date.
• ACLS within 6 months of start date.
• BLS/Basic Life Support is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient pain regularly and promote pain management.
• Document care in patient records in a timely, thorough manner.
• Respond to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Teach patients and families about condition, plan, meds and follow-up.
• Educate on non-medical follow-up measures and self-management.
