Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certificate on hire and current.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire.
• PALS certificate and/or ENPC within 30 days of hire.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year ER/acute care nursing experience.
• CEN certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care in Telemetry and acute care settings.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other staff.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality; ensure EMTALA compliance.
