Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ year critical care RN experience required.
• Current unrestricted RN license in the State of Connecticut.
• BLS required; ACLS/TNCC/PALS/CPI within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to obtain/administer moderate sedation within 9 months of hire.
• Certified Emergency Nurse, Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse, or NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize evidence-based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act.
• Develop a plan of care to meet the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams focused on patient-centered care.
• Ensure a safe environment for staff and patients.
• Work efficiently to provide high levels of satisfaction for staff and patients.
