Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a per diem role in Plainfield, CT. The ED at Plainfield is a 12-bed unit within Backus hospital's emergency services, serving a diverse patient population.

You will join a collaborative team, working under the Nurse Manager with evidence-based practices to deliver patient-centered care and maintain safety and quality across shifts.

Qualifications

• ED nursing experience is required.
• BLS required; ACLS, TNCC, PALS, CPI certifications within 90 days of hire.
• Current unrestricted Connecticut RN license.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care under Nurse Manager direction.
• Utilize nursing process to develop a care plan meeting physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural and educational needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
