Job summary
Baptist Health in Jacksonville is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Town Center - Main Building Freestanding ED on a part-time night shift. You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
The role requires nursing licensure, BLS, and preferably ED experience; additional certifications are encouraged. You will educate patients, coordinate care with physicians and departments, and advocate for patients while contributing
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with a valid license and BLS.
- 1–2 years Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
- Emergency Department experience preferred.
- Hospital experience and telemetry experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition.
- Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care.
- Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital.
- Coordinate care provided by ancillary services.
- Act as the patient advocate.
- Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities.
