Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN night shifts in our Emergency Department. You will provide patient care across medical and surgical conditions, collaborate with physicians and staff, and advocate for patients and families as part of a respectful health system.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of Medical-Surgical or ED experience, hold an ASN with RN licensure, and maintain BLS; ACLS, CEN, and other certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• ASN is required.
• RN license is required.
• BLS is required.
• BSN is preferred.
• ACLS is preferred.
• CEN is preferred.
• Conscious Sedation Certification preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification preferred.
• TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in the Emergency Department for medical/surgical or other conditions.
• Uphold the hospital mission and educate patients and families about disease processes and plans of care.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other hospital departments.
• Advocate for patients and participate in unit meetings and activities.

Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensed Registered Nurse (RN)

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Certified Emergency Registered Nurse (CEN)
