Job summary

Methodist Hospital Hill Country in Fredericksburg, TX is seeking an Experienced ED nurse for the PM shift (Nights 7P–7A). You’ll provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency department, supported by a national transfer policy and education resources.

The role requires an RN license, ACLS/BLS, TNCC/PALS or equivalent, and at least 6 months of ED experience. We offer mentorship, tuition assistance, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• RN license active and in good standing.
• ACLS/BLS required with stated timelines.
• TNCC and PALS/ENPC or equivalent required within specified periods.
• Minimum 6 months ED nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patient pain with regular reassessments.
• Perform procedures and document care in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and follow-up.
• Teach lifestyle changes and preventive measures for long-term health.
