Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
• BLS required.
• RN License in state of employment or compact.
• ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Administers medications and treatments using established protocols; monitors effects and side effects.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, and care provided.
• Addresses learning needs and provides education to patients and families; identifies issues and resources.
