CHRISTUS Children's is seeking a registered nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced setting. The role emphasizes independent nursing practice, adherence to ANA standards, and effective delegation under supervision as needed.

Responsibilities include administering medications, documenting care, and addressing the educational needs of patients and families. The position requires BLS, RN licensure, and relevant certifications, with orientation and ongoing competency validation

Formación

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
• BLS required.
• RN License in state of employment or compact.
• ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.

Responsabilidades

• Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Administers medications and treatments using established protocols; monitors effects and side effects.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, and care provided.
• Addresses learning needs and provides education to patients and families; identifies issues and resources.
