Job summary

Lutheran Health Network in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our Level 2 Trauma Center team. This full-time night shift (.9 FTE, 36 hours per week) offers a welcoming bonus up to $35,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will provide patient-centered care, administer medications, and participate in life-saving interventions with 1-2 years of bedside nurse experience preferred; EMT/Paramedic backgrounds are assets to the team.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• RN licensure valid in Indiana and documentation of BCLS; ACLS/PALS preferred
• Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and adapt to urgent situations

Responsibilities

• Coordinates high-quality, patient-centered care according to nursing process and policies.
• Administers medications, monitors effects, and documents administration per standards.
• Responds to emergencies; participates in CPR and code team activities.
