Job summary

Chino Valley Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department on the night shift in California. You will deliver safe patient care using the nursing process and coordinate with physicians and staff to respond quickly to changes in patients’ condition.

Requirements include a current California RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certificates, plus at least one year of ER experience. BSN and CEN are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS/ENPC certificates at hire or within specified timeframe.
• Minimum of one year ER staff nurse experience; trauma ER preferred.
• CEN and BSN are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in the Emergency Department.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians and care team.
• Maintain patient privacy and adhere to EMTALA and regulatory standards.
