Job summary

Advocate Health’s High Point Emergency Department is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced ED. You will monitor conditions, administer treatments, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safety, quality, and an exceptional patient experience.

The role requires a Nursing degree, an active RN license, BLS, and typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing-approved nursing program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license (multi-state compact and/or state-specific as applicable).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Typically, 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, patient-centered emergency care using the nursing process, clinical judgment, and evidence-based practice; monitoring patient conditions, administering treatments, and adapting care in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to drive optimal outcomes; promote safety, quality, and patient experience while maintaining documentation, communication, and professional standards.
