Job summary

Advocate Health—Mountain Island Emergency Department is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift coverage in a high-volume ED serving the Northwest Charlotte area. You will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care, delivering safe, therapeutic interventions in alignment with standards and policies.

Candidates should have at least 6 months of RN experience, an active RN license, and BLS; ACLS within 6 months of hire is required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• At least 6 months RN experience; this position is not for new graduates.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of inpatient RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
