Job summary

TriStar Spring Hill ER is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team. You will assess, monitor, and educate patients, while documenting care in the medical record and supporting the department's standards.

Applicants should hold RN licensure in TN or a compact state, BLS, ACLS/PALS within 1 year, CPI within 6 months, and have 1 year of RN experience; ER experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure by TN Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS and PALS must be obtained within 1 year of employment.
• CPI certification or training within 6 months of employment.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience.
• ER experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management and reassess after interventions.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider and document care.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Teach patients/families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures.
• Educate on non-medicinal follow-up measures and future self-management.
