Job summary

TriStar Ashland City Medical Center seeks an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to coordinate and provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced ER. You’ll work with physicians and the care team to implement care plans, perform procedures, document actions, and respond promptly to patient needs.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license with 1+ years of ER experience and ACLS/BCLS/PALS/NCI certifications or equivalent timelines.

Qualifications

• ER nursing experience required.
• ACLS/BCLS/PALS/NCI certifications required or within specified time frames.
• RN license (NA or RN) held and active.
• ASN/BSN or RN diploma acceptable; 1+ years in ER preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered ER care.
• Assess patient pain and manage treatment plans.
• Document care in medical records promptly and accurately.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment, and follow-up.
