Job summary

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital in Moncks Corner, SC is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the emergency setting. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to assess pain, perform procedures, and document care in the medical record.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma, with a preference for a BSN, and an active RN license. BLS must be obtained within 30 days, ACLS within 90 days of start date.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• <1 year of applicable experience.
• Active RN license in the state(s) of practice and/or a compact license.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Collaborate with medical providers and care team.
• Assess patient pain and promote effective pain management; document care.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up.
• Document administration of care in patient medical records promptly.
