Job summary

Lone Peak Hospital in Draper, UT, seeks a Nurse Manager for Emergency Services to lead daily ER operations, collaborate with physicians, and optimize patient throughput for all age groups.

You will mentor staff, coordinate staffing with the Director, and ensure high-quality patient care while maintaining professional composure under pressure. A strong leadership background in ER is essential.

Qualifications

• Current Utah nursing license in good standing.
• Associate’s Degree in nursing required, Bachelor’s within 3 years of hire.
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS/BCLS Certification.
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association ACLS Certification (within six months of hire).
• Maintains TNCC, ENPC, PALS, ETC certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical ER RN experience with 1+ year leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, administer, and evaluate operations of the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with physicians to expedite information and manage throughput from minor to critical cases.
• Lead, coach, and mentor ER staff; triage and treat patients of all ages; coordinate staffing and assignments.
• Work with the Director on staffing, hiring, evaluating, guiding, disciplining, and scheduling.
• Develop and communicate a shared department vision aligned with the hospital.
