Job summary

Lone Peak Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an RN for ER night shifts in Draper, Utah. You will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team, using established nursing models.

Demonstrated ER experience and appropriate degrees are required. You will educate patients and families, manage pain, document thoroughly, and advocate for patients while contributing to excellent outcomes and departmental performance.

Qualifications

• One or more years of ER experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management and reassess after intervention.
• Performs procedures and documents care in the patient record.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates needs.
• Teaches patients and families about condition, treatment plan, medications and follow-up measures.
• Prepares patients and families for future self-management.
