Job summary

Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. You will provide day-to-day patient care, using the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate responses across age groups.

Supervising staff on shift and escalating unusual problems to the Department Director are required. The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree in nursing with a Georgia RN license and current BLS; ACLS & PALS within 90 days are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing is required.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS & PALS within 90 days of employment.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Georgia.
• Prior Emergency Department or Critical Care experience is preferred.
• Three months of medical-surgical experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day patient care activities in the Emergency Department.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, prioritize, plan, deliver and evaluate patient responses across age groups.
• Supervise professional and skilled personnel during the shift.
• Refer unusual clinical and administrative problems to the Department Director.
