Job summary

Wellstar Health Systems is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department night shift in Georgia. The role targets proactive, compassionate care delivered within an interdisciplinary team environment, anchored in evidence-based practice and governance models.

The RN will provide patient-centered care across diverse populations, ensure accurate documentation, and participate in performance improvement and protocol development to enhance safety and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Georgia with current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications where applicable.
• Minimum education in nursing (ASN/ Diploma or BSN preferred).
• Experience in emergency department setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process with evidence-based practice to guide patient care.
• Provides relationship-based, patient-centered care across diverse populations.
• Partners with patients and families, coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintains current documentation and supports performance improvement initiatives.
• Supports protocol development and shared governance for safe patient care.
