Job summary

TriStar Bellevue FSER is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a busy Emergency Department. The RN will collaborate with providers and the care team, using established nursing models to advocate for patients and families.

Key requirements include 1+ year ER experience, RN licensure, and readiness to obtain ACLS, BLS, NCI, and PALS within stated timelines. The role emphasizes timely documentation, patient education, and proactive care.

Qualifications

• RN with licensed credential in the state where practicing.
• 1+ year ER experience required.
• ACLS within 60 days of employment start date
• BLS within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Assess patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management and reassess after interventions.
• Document care in the patient record promptly and thoroughly.
• Respond to patient requests promptly and proactively.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about condition, treatment plan, medications and side effects, and follow-up measures.
• Translate medical terminology to ensure patient understanding and support self-management.
