Job summary

Exceptional Healthcare is opening a new Community Hospital in Rapid City, SD, interviewing now for Emergency Department RN positions on full-time and PRN shifts. The team will support a 24/7 ER with modern facilities, including full Med Lab, Radiology, and Pharmacy, and in-house Respiratory Therapy.

We seek graduates of accredited nursing programs with 3–5 years ER experience, current RN license and BLS/ACLS/PALS, strong leadership, and EMR proficiency.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• 3 to 5 years of ER experience.
• Current nursing license and certifications – BLS, ACLS & PALS.
• Strong leadership and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient in EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ER with minimal supervision.
• Triage safely, rapidly, and accurately.
• Communicate with ED physicians about patient status and test results.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient safety.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are ready and functioning.
