Seacrest Behavioral Health in Carlisle, PA seeks an experienced Emergency Room RN to provide comprehensive nursing care in a small-format hospital's ED.
You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, document accurately, monitor vital signs, collect labs, and follow physician orders while upholding infection control and safety protocols. A BSN is preferred, with 2+ years ER experience and active RN license.
The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Room of a small-format hospital.
Responsibilities include: assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; documenting accurately in medical records; monitoring signs and symptoms; following physician orders; collecting lab samples; adhering to infection control and safety protocols; managing patient admissions, discharges, and transfers; and assembling equipment for diagnostic and treatment procedures.
Qualifications: an Associate’s Degree (BSN preferred), current state RN licensure, and at least 2+ years of ER or comparable experience.
Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association are required; ENPC certification may substitute for PALS, and TNCC is preferred.
Strong communication skills and compliance with background clearance requirements are essential.

Additional duties include participating in quality activities and staff meetings, with a focus on delivering safe, effective emergency nursing services.
