Job summary

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management, including reassessments after intervention.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the provider; document care in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs to deliver exceptional care.
• Teach patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatments, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures.
• Educate on non-medicinal follow-up measures such as diet, exercise, disease prevention, and self-management.
